Many articles and interviews with industry leaders indicate that the hotel industry is looking for a fresh, new direction. All that corporate offices have to do to find that new direction is to study the discoveries of New Science. Dr. Vladimir Poponin\u2019s discovery called the Phantom DNA Effect<\/em> is a case in point.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This article is going to point out the opportunity that the hotel industry has to reinvent itself and what the hotel industry is missing by ignoring the discoveries of New Science, which includes the energy sciences and quantum science. I hope that at least the younger generation of hoteliers who are not clogged up with old-style ideas and traditions will be excited by how science can revolutionise hospitality.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Dr. Poponin\u2019s work in the 1990s built on what science had already demonstrated, namely, that our thoughts and emotions affect our DNA either positively or negatively depending on the nature (vibration or energy) of our thoughts and emotions. Indeed, scientists have even shown that when you take someone\u2019s DNA to a distant part of the world, and you have the owner of the DNA think different kinds of thoughts and feelings, such as sad or happy thoughts, the person\u2019s DNA in that other part of the world will react to those thoughts and feelings at the very moment they are thought and felt even though the owner is thousands of miles away. This happens because thoughts are energy that travels outwards at the speed of light as soon as they are created and because we live in a global matrix of energy.\u00a0 That our thoughts and feelings affect our DNA positively or negatively according to what we are thinking and feeling is extremely important for hoteliers to know.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

What made Dr. Poponin\u2019s experiments so important was that for the first time science had proved beyond even the doubts of the hardened skeptics that human DNA directly affects the physical world. Religions and traditions have known this for many centuries, but scientists did not believe it, and I wonder if the conservative hotel industry will in spite of the proof. The hotel industry could reinvent itself with these two discoveries alone.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In practical terms, it means that wherever we are, our DNA is imprinting that area where we are standing or walking, that room we are cleaning, that space in front of the guest, and indeed the electro-magnetic matrix of the planet with the energy of our thoughts and feelings. Hopefully, you can already see the huge implications of this, and the enormous changes that are needed to take advantage of it.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

What Dr. Poponin did was he fired light into a container that had a vacuum in it. He observed the photons of light and saw, as expected, that they were distributed randomly in the container. Dr. Poponin then introduced a physical chain of human DNA into the vacuum. In the presence of the human DNA, the photons changed from being randomly distributed and formed a pattern that was exactly the shape of the DNA. The photons aligned themselves immediately with the shape of the DNA. The DNA clearly affected the energy of the photons.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

That was the first surprise.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The next surprise came when he removed the DNA from the container. He expected that the photons would return to the random distribution, but instead, they stayed in the exact shape of the DNA, even though the strand had already been removed. As long as the vacuum was not disturbed the photons stayed in the shape of the DNA, and did so in each experiment for up to a month after the DNA had been removed.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The human DNA had imprinted its energy in the vacuum and affected the energy there even when it was no longer present! This is exactly what we human beings do wherever we are. Science has now proven that the energy of our DNA, which we change all day long through our words, thoughts, and feelings, affects the energy of the environment around us, the same energy that other people, such as hotel guests, pick up through the brain (the brain in the head, not the heart-brain). Heart energy field research institutes have been demonstrating this for years now.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Now, if your thoughts and emotions can affect your DNA and your DNA can affect the energy in the area around you wherever you go, think of the implications, such as the urgent need to ensure that every member of staff\u2019s energy imprint has a high frequency all the time. Quantum science has already proved that everything is made of energy, including human beings, and that loving thoughts and emotions have high-frequency energy while uncaring thoughts and emotions have low-frequency energy.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The hotel industry will find a fresh new direction by focusing on energy, and on finding ways to give the DNA imprint a high-frequency vibration. It is easy to do, and people will demand it and expect it, and if you cannot create the kind of environment, the customers will go elsewhere. That future is as close as the first hotel group, which works out how to create a high energy frequency guest experience.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In contrast, however, the current paradigm and methods are ideally suited to creating a relatively low-frequency energy guest experience because they are almost entirely left brain in orientation. Hotel groups cannot create a high-frequency guest experience because the focus is on manuals of standards, traditional methods, and on rolling out corporate templates when a new hotel opens. Hotel groups generally seem to want to create something new and different, but they continue to use the same, well-worn-out, left brain methods. Is this not plain daft or am I missing something?<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Because the focus is on the same old, dull, and uninspiring SOP-Customer Satisfaction guest experience with its emphasis on mechanical, emotionless standards, each member of staff is imprinting his or her area of the hotel with DNA that is giving out relatively low-frequency energy. No wonder the energy of Customer Satisfaction hotels feels dull and flat. I think that hoteliers and guests have become so accustomed to its numbing feeling that it seems so normal, familiar, and even safe and comfortable to them.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Perhaps another piece of research called the Love Study<\/strong> will help to wake up the industry to what it could and should be trying to do. It took place at the laboratory of the Institute of Noetic Sciences, north of San Francisco. Schlitz is the President of the institute, which conducts research on consciousness and spirituality. Teena and JD Miller had been married then for a decade and their affection was palpable.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Schlitz took Teena into an isolated room where no sound could go in or out, and attached electrodes to her right hand to measure blood flow in her thumb and her skin conductance activity. In short, these measured her unconscious nervous system. Schlitz locked Teena in the electromagnetically shielded chamber, then ushered her husband into another isolated room with closed-circuit television. The screen went on and off at random intervals and Teena’s image appeared on the screen for 10 seconds each time. He was told that during the times when he saw her, he should think about her and send loving, compassionate intention.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

As the session began, a senior scientist watched as a computer showed changes in JD\u2019s blood pressure and perspiration. When JD saw the image of his wife the steady lines suddenly jumped and became ragged. Teena’s nervous system followed suit and there was a change in the blood volume. An hour later, the senior scientist displayed Teena’s graph, which showed a flat line during the times her husband was not staring at her image, but when her husband began to stare at her, she stopped relaxing and became “aroused” within about two seconds.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

After running 36 couples through this test, the researchers found that when one person focused his thoughts on his partner, the partner’s blood flow and perspiration dramatically changed within two seconds. The odds of this happening by chance were 1 in 11,000. Three dozen double-blind, randomized studies by such institutions as the University of Washington and the University of Edinburgh have reported similar results.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

How is this relevant to the hotel guest experience? Look at the general situation. Because the industry ignores the discoveries of New Science, which reinforce what mainstream religions and ancient traditions have been saying for so long, and persists with its love affair of 17th<\/sup> century Newtonian science, hotel systems and training focus on providing left brain, mechanical customer service. That is basically where SOP-Customer Satisfaction comes from.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Because of this, the hotel industry has sunk to become a rational, left-brain industry that creates a left-brain experience, irrespective of what corporate Sales and Marketing teams conjure up on their websites and irrespective of the fact that genuine hospitality is by nature energetic and spiritual. The corporate world has created this distortion and sadly the hotel industry has accepted it as the way things are.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Have hoteliers really learned nothing from the work of Japanese scientist, Masaru Emoto, who demonstrated continuously how the vibration and energy of thoughts, spoken words, written words, and visualization can change ugly or broken molecular water structures into beautiful hexagonal structures, or vice versa?\u00a0 Has nobody thought of applying the principles of his boiled rice experiment to transform the guest experience into one that is highly energetic in nature?\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Thoughts and words are energy. When a hotel focuses on creating and intensifying a guest experience that exudes the vibrations of loving-kindness, compassion, empathy, and sincere heart-warming care, the electromagnetic energy field of the staff members changes because the energy produced by the heart becomes higher in vibration. Each staff member\u2019s heart sends out waves of high frequency, coherent energy into the environment and affects the DNA in a positive way. The DNA of each member of staff then imprints warm, high-frequency energy in the hotel\u2019s environment, not just between the member of staff and the guest s\/he is serving, but throughout the property.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Has the hotel industry missed the experiments by the US Air Force that prove there is a Matrix of energy or consciousness that not only links us all together throughout the world but also throughout the environment of the hotel? The Matrix is not just a Hollywood film. This discovery alone could be used to transform the guest experience and the hotel industry massively. Indeed, using this discovery any member of staff could influence the feeling of the guest experience from home.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is almost old science now, just like sending thoughts to plants to increase their growth is old knowledge. But the hotel industry continues along in the left brain mode, exalting and worshipping the voices and ideas of tradition, while the world outside has moved on in leaps and bounds by applying the discoveries of New Science. If medicine progressed at the same speed as change appears in the hotel industry, doctors would still be letting blood to cure illness.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

If I can sit on a sofa in Bangkok and influence the growth of tomatoes or any other crop in Cameroon just by using my thought and heart energies with pictures of the crops, what do you think hotel staff could do to influence the hotel guest experience if they knew how to? But instead, the hotel industry sticks stubbornly to rolling out, training, and retraining SOPs each day until the cows come home, and then wonders why nothing is changing or getting better.\u00a0 If you keep doing the same things all the time, what is going to happen? The essential guest experience won\u2019t change, even if you change the design, the smells, the colours, install WonderBeds, or create new (sub-)brands with fancy names.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

By applying the discoveries of New Science hoteliers will see that the feeling of a hotel and guest experience can be changed so radically and so quickly. The applications are so manifold that I do not know where to start to explain them. I have mentioned the scientific experiments above so that corporate offices can get a glimpse of the possibilities, and if they can, maybe they will want to move on and up from the depths of their current, extremely limited concept of hospitality.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

To sum up, the message here is: study New Science, particularly the energy sciences and quantum science, and then think about how to apply the discoveries to the hotel guest experience. That is where the money will be made in the future.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Look at how to increase the vibration of thought energy and electro-magnetic heart energy so that your staff imprint high-frequency energy when they are close to guests as well as throughout the hotel. It is easy to do. It is not enough to build a resort with Feng Shui in mind and then use the same old left-brain customer care concept as one star-filled hotel chain has done. The staff will still imprint a low-frequency vibration throughout the resort.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

With the science you can create your own kind of Heart-Based Hospitality, which has no limits, unlike current left-brain concepts. Heart-Based Hospitality strengthens the focus on loving-kindness, heart-warming care, compassion, and empathy continuously and raises the vibration of the body\u2019s heart energy field so that the DNA of the staff can imprint a high energy vibration on their immediate environment and surrounding area.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In contrast, SOP-Customer Satisfaction tends to dull the emotions of hotel staff and to create a flat-feeling guest experience because the staff are focused on performing their job skills. Their thoughts and emotions affect their DNA with low-frequency energy, which in turn imprints a dull vibration throughout the hotel.
