Since hotels are in the hospitality business and the essence of hospitality is spiritual, why does not a single hotel group in the world include showing unconditional love and compassion in their core values, their goals, and purpose?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even after decades of working in hotels, has not a single Executive Board member discovered the spiritual essence of their profession? \u201cOh, but we have all our SOPs in place.\u201d (I have been told this twice by corporate folks.) \u2026 <em>Groan!!!!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-58577 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/heartbasedhospitality.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/image.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"375\" height=\"467\" srcset=\"https:\/\/heartbasedhospitality.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/image.png 268w, https:\/\/heartbasedhospitality.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/image-241x300.png 241w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 375px) 100vw, 375px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>What are the corporate folks doing about it? \u2026 They are adding more contactless technology and training their SOPs! \u2026 Brilliant thinking! Where on this planet will training robotic, emotionless SOPs develop the spiritual heart of a human being?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When will hotel conferences fill their Agenda with speakers who understand the spiritual essence of hospitality? Until then, nothing will change and the hospitality industry\u2019s leaders will continue to mislead the hospitality industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Will the spiritual essence have been discovered by the time I\u2019m 100 in 33 years, I wonder?
