When one day the industry discovers the ancient knowledge that the body has an energy field, hoteliers will have discovered the means to making the greatest transformation in the guest experience since the industry began. I would like you to experience what happens when you change your own body’s energy vibration by means of the Five Tibetans. Perhaps then the energetic guest experience will become more meaningful.
Introduction
The Five Tibetans is a system of five anti-aging exercises from monasteries in Tibet, and they are reported to be more than 2,500 years old. They raise the frequency of energy of the body’s energy field, give you an abundance of extra energy, reduce stress, and provide multiple health benefits.
I would really like you to try them out so that you can feel what happens when you change your body’s energy. Perhaps then, some hoteliers will think, “If this is how I feel when I change my body’s energy vibration and Chakras, maybe an energetic guest experience will have a positive effect on the staff and the guest experience.”
The Chakras
In addition to knowing that the body has an energy field, hoteliers must also understand what the Chakras are because both are essential elements when creating an energetic guest experience.
Chakras are spinning vortexes of energy of different colour that perform many functions. These energy centres are powerful electrical and magnetic fields, which govern the endocrine system, which in turn regulates all of the body’s functions, including the ageing process. Energy flows from the universal energy field through the Chakras into the energy systems within our bodies, including the meridian system. As we grow older, the spin rate of the vortexes diminishes, resulting in ill-health. However, the spin rate of these vortexes can be restored by performing the Five Tibetans daily, resulting in improved health.
Our bodies contain 7 major Chakras and 122 minor Chakras. The major Chakras are located at the base of the spine (Root Chakra), at the navel (Sacral Chakra), in the solar plexus (Solar Plexus Chakra), within your heart (Heart Chakra), within the throat (Throat Chakra), at the center of your forehead (Brow or Third Eye Chakra), and at the top of your head (Crown Chakra). These Chakras are linked together with all of the energy systems in the body and the various layers of the aura.
The Five Tibetans speed up the spinning of the Chakras, coordinate their spin so that they are in complete harmony, distribute pure Prana energy to the endocrine system, and in turn to all organs and processes in the body. This is one of the major requirements for vibrant health, rejuvenation, and youthfulness. The speed of the Chakra spin is a key to vibrant health. The other keys to vibrant health that relate to the Chakras are, ensuring they are clear of negative energy, and that they are perfectly shaped and not distorted.
Benefits of the Five Tibetans
The Five Tibetans open up the body-mind energy system and balance energy. They can dramatically increase physical strength and suppleness as well as mental acuity. Regular practice of these exercises relieves muscular tension and nervous stress, improves respiration and digestion, benefits the cardiovascular system, enlivens the senses, and leads to deep relaxation and well-being.
When the Chakras spin in the right direction, they stimulate all the glands of the endocrine system. The endocrine system is composed of the following glands/organs: hypothalamus, pituitary, thyroid, parathyroid, adrenals, pineal body, ovaries/testes, and the pancreas. All of these glands/ organs are responsible for the activity of the cells, metabolism, growth, stamina, vitality, and sexual development/function, and are the main components in the nervous system.
When one of our Chakras is unbalanced or blocked, our body becomes ill and starts aging quickly because our endocrine system cannot perform well. When all of the endocrine glands are functioning in harmony, a person has more energy, more vitality and less discomfort. Often when one gland is not functioning correctly, the other glands will not be communicating properly with each other. Balanced hormones also rev up one’s sexual energy. Plus when the hormones are out of balance, one is more prone to mood swings and illness.
In addition, they oxygenate the body. The more you oxygenate the body, the higher your metabolism. That means weight loss. These exercises require full inhalation and exhalation of air, and the result is complete breathing and more oxygen. When people sit at their desks most of the day, they do not breathe fully, and thus do not get an adequate supply of oxygen.
Also, they drain the lymph system. The lymph system moves toxins out of the body. The very actions of the Tibetans, as they compress and stretch the various organs, glands and muscles, assist in draining the lymph system. The result is that you flush toxins faster.
The Tibetans help you naturally to stand up straighter. They flex the spine, and this aids with spinal health. By doing the Tibetans daily, you may find you feel more flexible in many of your muscles and joints.
The Tibetans will help provide you with a little pick-me-up. They stimulate the reticular activating system of the brain and balance the right and left hemispheres of the brain. The result is that you think better and more clearly and can more easily integrate your creativity with your logical rational thoughts.
Benefits of Each of the 5 Tibetan Rites
Exercise 1
The speed of the Chakra spin is a key to vibrant health. The first rite works on all 7 Chakras by coordinating their spin so they are in complete harmony. It distributes pure Prana energy to the endocrine system, and in turn to all organs and processes in the body which is one of the major requirements for vibrant health, rejuvenation and youthfulness. It is the key rite to reset one’s body to optimum functioning.
Exercise 2
The second rite works mainly on the Manipura or Solar Plexus Chakra, situated in the abdominal region. This Chakra is the centre of vitality and vigour. It also regulates the functioning of the pancreas and digestive organs. As a result, it is curative in curing digestive disorders, diabetes and fluctuations in blood pressure. This rite also strengthens the abdominal muscles and acts as a powerhouse by constantly supplying vitality and bestowing balance and strength.
Exercise 3
This rite energizes the Vishuddhi or Throat Chakra which activates the pituitary and thyroid glands. Harmonization of these two major glands regulates the metabolism rate, controls water balance in the body via the control of reabsorption of water by the kidneys, and optimizes the functioning of our sexual organs. On an emotional level it fills one with a feeling of unlimited happiness and freedom that allows our abilities and skills to blossom. It also alleviates anxiety and suppressed fears. This rite also strengthens the spinal column and makes one more flexible.
Exercise 4
The fourth rite works on the Swadisthana or Sacral Chakra associated with our reproductive organs. It activates our lower abdominal and pelvic area, thereby awakening our sexual energy, and general state of pleasure. It also strengthens the lower back. When this Chakra is harmonized it brings clarity and development of a strong personality. This rite also helps weed out our negative base qualities that hinder our development.
Exercise 5
This rite is an overall body toning and strengthening exercise. This posture stretches the shoulders, legs, spine and whole body; It builds strength throughout the body, particularly the arms, legs, and feet. It also relieves fatigue and rejuvenates the body while improving the immune system, digestion and blood flow to the sinuses. It calms the mind and lifts the spirit.
Comments
The hotel industry will never be able to move on from the concept of SOP-Customer Satisfaction until it accepts the ancient knowledge about the existence of the human energy field and the Chakras, and understands their significance, and it also accepts the spiritual nature of human beings and of hospitality. Until then, hotels will be confined to the robotic, rational, SOP-Customer Satisfaction guest experience, which is propagated by western corporate offices, such as Marriott, Intercontinental, Accor, Best Western, etc., and copied by just about everyone else.
I encourage the hotel industry to ignore the enticing calls of the Sirens of Tradition. Energetic and spiritual hospitality opens up wonderful possibilities and new horizons for the guest experience. You will be able to change the energy of the staff, the hotel facilities, and indeed of the whole hotel property. The frequency of energy of the staff will increase, and this will change their attitude and motivation, and transform their service. They will be able to use thought energy to send love energy that impacts the guest experience positively. The hotel’s revenue will increase as a result because people will want to stay at a hotel that offers such a guest experience.
But if you wish to stay loyal to hotel industry tradition, then persist with SOP-Customer Satisfaction. You probably know that it is dull and that there has to be something better. An energetic and spiritual guest experience is in line with who and what we really are. The SOP-Customer Satisfaction concept makes hotel staff something they are not because it denies their spiritual essence. You must surely know this instinctively.
One day a hotel group will clear away the cobwebs of corporate tradition and try out Heart-Based Hospitality, and then other hotel groups and hotels will have to play catch-up. If you do not believe that the body has an energy field, go to YouTube and you will see videos of it. You can also find demonstration videos of the 5 Tibetans there. Try them out, and you will see that when you change your body’s energy, you feel remarkably different. Dare to imagine what the guest experience could become when you ignore the Sirens of Tradition!
